Rob Spence, a Canadian filmmaker, has replaced his
injured eye with a camera and transmitter. Spence, who gave himself
the "Eyeborg" nickname, has not had his sight restored by the camera
(that's technology still out of our reach), but he can record everything
he sees and even transmit it for others to see. Unfortunately, the
picture is low definition and the transmitter is not very powerful, but
unlike the rest of us poor humans, Spence can always upgrade later.
